Exploring for the best hosting service is my favorite hobby. Only last week, I discovered one of the goldmines in hosting. Though the name is not as prominent as Kinsta, WPEngine, and Flywheel, my instinct says it will be equally good in the future.
I’m talking about the Pressidium Review here.Â
Pressidium is a web hosting company that highly boasts of its WordPress Managed hosting services. If you’re in a quick pinch, read my quick verdict below.
First, I’ll talk about Pressidium’s special features that differentiate it from other managed WordPress hosts. They have a “high-availability architecture.”
Then, I’ll try out their service, show you how their dashboard and WordPress plugin work, and see how their support team helps.
Moving on… My Pressidium Review will cover every aspect of this hosting service, including its features, uses, and pricing. (I have got a surprise for you as well!)
Let me enjoy my Ramen noodles while you read my Pressidium review.
Pressidium Review: Overview 2024
Let’s start with the basic intro to the company.
John Andriopoulos, Andrew George, Giannis Zachariadis, and Filip Slavik founded Pressidium in 2013. Presidium’s parent company is TechIO Limited, based in London, United Kingdom.
Pressidium is a top-notch company that’s great at hosting WordPress websites. They have hundreds of positive reviews, and the credit goes to the server it owns.
They are designed especially for WordPress websites, and it’s full of everything you need to make your website and help it grow. It’s like having all the right tools to make your website stand out on the internet!
While it is one of the most advanced advancements, it is undoubtedly one of the best business-specific WordPress-specific moderation deals. Media, new technologies. Pressidium is used by various computer organizations and Fortune 500 companies.Â
The company’s servers are in Europe, North America, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Oceania.
Pressidium provides robust and scalable managed WordPress hosting. The plans are simple, lightning-fast, highly secure, and feature cutting-edge technologies and innovations.
One of the best-kept secrets in the WordPress-managed hosting space has to be Pressidium. You’ve probably never heard of them, but you should look into them!

Pressidium Hosting Features:
In this section, I’ll list my best features, and I am sure you will also love those features. If you want to skip, look at the graphics below.
CDN and Caching
While most WordPress hosting services use Cloudflare to help speed up and store website data, Pressidium does things differently.
They use their computers to do this. According to what they’ve written, they have 22 special servers in North America, 31 in Europe, and 3 in Asia to help with this.
But here’s the catch: If you’re on the cheapest plan (Micro), you don’t get access to this feature. You have to get at least a Personal plan to use it. You can control this feature through their control panel, which is like the settings for your website.
Like other WordPress hosting services, Pressidium also has server-level caching. Every website on Pressidium gets this feature automatically, and you can’t turn it off.
But if you ever need to clear this “cache” (think of it as cleaning up the website to make it faster), there’s a menu at the top of your website settings. In the dashboard, you will find Adaptive Caching, where you can clean up the cache for your website.
E-Commerce Functionality
My favorite feature is the teamwork between WooCommerce and Pressidium.Â
First, WooCommerce is a fantastic e-commerce solution that works seamlessly with Pressidium. What’s good is that Pressidium has adaptive caching policies specifically for WooCommerce.
What does that mean for you?
It means your website loads super fast, giving you a better chance of ranking higher in search results.
But that’s not all! Pressidium is known for its top-notch hosting services. When you choose Pressidium for your online store, you can trust that your website will be reliable and perform at its best.
Fast, Reliable, Free Field Transfer
Moving a WordPress site from one host to another can be costly and difficult, especially if you need more technical knowledge. However, Pressidium alleviates the burden by performing the task for you without charging an additional fee.
Submit a support ticket with your site’s URL, username, password, and a file archived with the Duplicator plug-in. And you’ll soon be reaping the benefits of your new hosting plan.Â
Managed WordPress Hosting
Implementing an e-commerce site is very easy thanks to Pressidium and the add-on WordPress WooCommerce. WooCommerce is a good e-commerce solution for Pressidium, as it is covered by the host company’s adaptive caching policy.
This means your website loads faster, which is a better time to publish the page.
The company has an availability guarantee of 99.95%. Pressidium reaches up to 5% of its customers’ monthly fees (in the form of SLA credits) for each hour of inactivity to fulfill its promise of availability.
Security and Backup
With Presidium’s fully integrated security system, you no longer need to spend money on WordPress security plugins.
In addition to fully protected servers, the Pressidium security system offers secure file access via SFTP, a managed Web Application Firewall (WAF), web filtering, and a malware monitoring system that parses files continuously.
Besides the high-availability and security I discussed earlier, Pressidium offers all the performance and security features you’d expect from a managed WordPress host.
For performance, they have five different ways to make your site faster.
They use “Varnish” as a base for their caching system. They also have a custom “adaptive caching engine” that watches how people use your site and ensures the right things get cached.
I asked their support team about this, which means that if someone is logged into your site, they won’t see the cached version, but others will. This is helpful if you have a site where people need to log in, like a membership site.
Custom cPanel
For the non-techies, Pressidium might need some time to adjust.
One of these adjustments pertains to how you manage your website. Instead of relying on cPanel or similar third-party software, Pressidium has its very own custom control panel.
Pressidium control panel boasts a user-friendly interface featuring various menu items that grant you access to the available features. As you land on the main screen, you’ll find essential information about your website at a glance.
The main dashboard details your WordPress version, PHP version, IP address, active theme, and more.
Here is how the main dashboard looks:
Team Collaboration
If you’re working on a project with a team and want to invite your team members to join in, Pressidium has a helpful feature. You can send an invitation to your team members, and you get to decide what they can do based on their role.
There are three levels:
- Team admin: The admin has access to everything.
- Website admin: They can do everything on all the websites or just on specific ones.
- Billing admin: They can look at the money stuff.
You send these invitations through email, and if you already have a team member, you can change their role. This feature is super handy if you and your team work together on creating websites.
Pressidium Hosting User Experience
As a user, you want your web hosting to be easy to use, and the dashboard should be easily navigable. Plus, there are a lot of factors.
Let’s look at these Pressidum user experience factors:
Site Setup
After you create a Pressidium account, they will welcome you with some choices when you log in for the first time.
First, you’ll pick a datacenter from four options:
- North America (East)
- North America (West)
- Europe
- Oceania and Asia Pacific
Once you decide, Pressidium will set up your account. Then, you’ll see a message asking you to make your first website.
Pressidium will need a few minutes to do some work on your request. After that, you’ll have a shiny new WordPress website. To complete the process, you must set up and link your website’s domain name.
Site Tools
When you go to the dashboard for a specific website, you can find all the features I talked about earlier, like:
- Backups
- Staging sites (making test versions of your site)
- SSL certificates (which make your site secure with HTTPS)
There’s a lot of stuff here so that I won’t talk about everything. Instead, I’ll point out some of the most important parts.
First, the main site dashboard is handy. You can quickly check if any parts of your WordPress site need updates.
Pressidium dashboard gives available various site tools:
- Domains
- Backups
- SFTP
- Database
- Logs
- Settings
Staging Sites
If you want to make a test version of your site, go to the Staging tab. Here, you’ll get almost the same tools as your real site, but it’s just for the test version.
If you move your test site to the real one, you can open the Staging Operations menu. When you move your site, you can pick if you want to replace the database on your real site or move the files.

My Final Thoughts on Pressidium Review
Does Pressidium stand up to my expectations?
I would say it does more than that.
I had a fantastic experience with Pressidium—they belong to the top tier of managed WordPress hosts I’ve tested. Their performance was excellent, and their high-availability infrastructure and horizontal scaling capabilities ensure that your website can easily handle heavy traffic without any issues.
With its intuitive, world-class architecture, added security, reliable uptime, and high speeds, it’s perfectly equipped to make your home-based website online without worrying about downtime, low speeds, and incompetent support.
Not just their infrastructure impressed me; Pressidium has also developed a remarkably user-friendly dashboard and a suite of tools. One of my favorite features is the Pressidium plugin, which lets you create instant backups directly from your WordPress dashboard.
This feature is incredible, and I believe other hosts should consider implementing something similar.
If you’re looking for a WordPress-hosted site but do not have the resources or experience to manage it yourself, you have a team focused solely on properly functioning your WordPress site.
